Blood in the Urine (Hematuria)

One of the most important complaints in the urology clinic. Blood in the urine can occur in two forms. The blood can either be seen by the naked eye as “red urine” or it can be found only through the “urine dipstick” during a routine health check. Both forms are equally important symptoms and both require further investigations. Common associated urologic conditions include urinary stones, urological cancers, urinary tract infections and exercise-induced hematuria.
